Untitled Collaboration

A collaborative sculptural project with sculpture and installation artist Bean Worley. We aimed to explore femininity, societal standards, and body horror. Her clay and bronze casted sculptures explored hypersexualisation and the female form twisting and breaking under pressure. My cardboard and masking tape sculptures explored the feminine and the masculine, the abstraction of both creating something new. Our work sat side by side in turn. My sculptures towering over hers, slowly bending down in a dominating stance with legs spread, whilst hers twist and collapse underneath.

I used cardboard, masking tape, coffee stirrers and foam to create my sculptures and my 'skin'.
